Celebrate the New York Public Library's Summer Reading Kickoff with this three hour drop-in program exploring literacy and art! In this special edition of Books, Authors, & Kids, you will create Afro-futuristic art inspired by the exhibition Future Continuous and the NYPL Summer Reading theme: outer space. Astronaut ice cream will be served!
Books, Authors and Kids at the George Bruce Library is presented as a part of inHarlem, a set of new initiatives designed to explore dynamic ways to work in the community and take the institution beyond its walls.
